he University of Nicosia announces the appointment of Professor Angelika Kokkinaki, Dean of the School of Business, as a member of the Public Natural Gas Company (DEFA).
Specifically, during its meeting on 2 May, 2023, the Cyprus Cabinet, under the presidency of the President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, approved the appointments of the President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Natural Gas Company (DEFA), to replace the resigning President and a member as follows:
President: Antonis Patsalis, Mechanical Engineer
Member: Dr. Angelika Kokkinaki, Professor and Dean of the School of Business Administration, University of Nicosia.
About Professor Angelika Kokkinaki
Prof. Kokkinaki is a Professor in Information Systems, she is the Dean of the UNIC School of Business and serves as the MBA Director at the University of Nicosia.
She has extensive experience in inter- and intra- organizational information systems, including e-business, e-government, e-learning and e-nnovation.
She has worked as a researcher and lecturer in the USA, UK and the Netherlands. She has participated in 20+ national and EU funded programmes and has published over 90 articles in journals and conferences. She holds a Ph.D., Computer Science, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL), Lafayette, LA, USA (1995), a M.Sc., Computer Science, Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA (1991) and a 5-year curriculum Diploma, Computer Engineering and Informatics from Patras University (1987). She is a Chartered Engineer (Technical Chamber of Greece, 1987) and an accredited Project Manager (MIT Professional Programmes, 1998).
