uropean University Cyprus recently signed an Erasmus Partnership Agreement with the renowned French University Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, known as SciencesPo. SciencesPo specializes in Social and Political Sciences. In the QS World University Rankings, SciencesPo ranks 2nd globally in Political Sciences and International Relations, and 1st in Europe in the same subjects.
During her recent visit to Cyprus, Dr. Pauline Couteau, Director of the International Affairs Department of SciencesPo, visited European University Cyprus, accompanied by Mr. Emmanuel Mouriez, Cooperation and Cultural Counsellor of the French Embassy in Cyprus and Director of the French Institute in Cyprus, as well as Mrs. Helene Francois-Iosifides, Head of the “Studies in France” office of the French Institute in Nicosia.
The representatives of the French institutions were given a tour of the European University Cyprus campus, and were briefed about the university’s programmes and faculties.
The officials of the French institutions expressed their intention to reinforce the cooperation between the two universities, while they also demonstrated interest in attending the events held by European University Cyprus during the Erasmus International Week which is planned to take place in the Spring of 2022.
